Since then, she has gained extensive experience working with children across a variety of settings, including government schools, private practice, remedial schools, and schools for learners with severe intellectual and physical disabilities. This has allowed her to develop a strong skill set in supporting children with learning difficulties such as dyslexia and ADHD, as well as those with developmental delays, cerebral palsy, epilepsy, genetic conditions, Down syndrome, autism spectrum disorder, and sensory integration challenges.
Helené-Mari has a special interest in Sensory Integration and completed her training through SAISI in 2023. She is a committed life-long learner who continues to grow her expertise through ongoing professional development to ensure she provides the highest quality of care.
With her playful, warm nature and ability to connect with children on their level, Helené-Mari creates a safe and encouraging environment where children feel supported to learn, grow, and reach their full potential. As both a therapist and a mother of a toddler and twin boys, she brings unique empathy and understanding to her practice, appreciating the joys and challenges that come with each child’s developmental journey.
